Weekly Newsletter Jan 11-15th

Ms. Hewitt’s Fourth Grade Class Newsletter
Monday, January 11th, 2015

Good Morning Guardians and Students,

I am beyond impressed with all of my students! They endured some harsh weather and long hours during our Age of Sail field lesson and came back to school smiling and positive as ever! We discussed every crew’s experience and started writing our reflections as soon as we came back. I am so thankful for this field lesson for many reasons, number one reason is the bond we are share and support we all have for one another. I love second trimester especially after this trip because we are like a family who endured and overcame challenging times together.

A special thanks to the tall sailors John Bell, Brad Mott, Rob Holmer, Kari Chism, Donna McDonald, and Jennifer Espinoza. You are all amazing. Another special thanks to Alicia Teater, Nancy Kong Vasquez, Hope Gawlick, Gina Bell for making delicious snack bags and bringing coffee the morning of. Your support and thoughtfulness helped us make it throughout the journey.
