Welcome to Your Fourth Grade Class!
Dear students and families,
I am so excited to finally meet you all to begin our journey through fourth grade together. We are going to have a lot of fun exploring California, reading intriguing novels, learning about energy, writing narratives, expository texts, opinion pieces, and MUCH more! We have a lot of exciting information to cover and I can not wait to get started!
This is my fifth year teaching fourth grade at Westlake Charter and I absolutely LOVE it. The staff, families, and of course the students are the best I have ever seen and had the privilege to work with. Prior to working here I taught English in Spain for three months and in San Luis Obispo, which is where I graduated college. I have lived in Sacramento for four years now and I really enjoy the people and location. I’m from a lovely beach town called San Clemente, located in Orange county, where most of my family currently lives. I have one older and younger brother and two younger sisters, whom I ADORE. I can not wait to learn all about each of your families, interests, and where you came from.
